REMEMBERING DON • THE DON KREKEL ORCHESTRA

The founder of the Don Krekel Orchestra, Mr. Don Krekel, passed away February 23, 2022. In his memory, we are having special concert featuring his favorite songs. Don handed over the reins of the DKO to Ansyn Banks last year when his health began to fail. Dr. Banks is a Professor of Jazz Studies at UL School of Music. Along with the 17 incredible musicians of the DKO, vocalists Barb Polk and Harvey Turner will be performing.
