ALLISON CROSS, trombone player, is a founding member and active musician with two local bands – the “Billy Goat Strut Revue, a seven piece New Orleans-style group, and “Your Friendly Neighborhood Big Band.” Allison graduated from UofL with a degree in Music Therapy and is employed as a music therapist in the Cincinnati area.
(NOTE: Your Friendly Neighborhood Big Band began as a little experiment started by Joe Dunn on Tuesday nights at the Nachbar in Louisville, Kentucky’s “Germantown” neighborhood. The band has a rotating lineup of regular members and guests generally comprised of many of Louisville’s finest musicians. The group performs classic big band literature and original arrangements and compositions.)
