Jazz & Food Truck Wednesday

Jazz & Food Truck Wednesdays is a weekly lunchtime event that takes place every Wednesday on S. 4th St. between Jefferson St. and Market St. The event, which runs from the Spring to the Fall, will serve lunch options between 11 am – 2 pm and feature live music.

New this year, LDP will partner with Louisville Metro’s Department of Specialty Permits and Licenses to help more food trucks get properly licensed. The Food Truck Wednesdays series shuts down the street to vehicles so that food trucks can set up shop, allowing Downtown employees, visitors, and convention goers to take advantage of the open streetscape and participate in a fun atmosphere and additional lunchtime options. Picnic tables will also be stationed on the plaza across from food trucks to provide supplemental seating.

Sponsored by Jamey Aebersold Jazz Inc., Food Truck Wednesdays features local and regional musicians to offer a festive atmosphere.

From gourmet food on wheels to classic lunch favorites like burgers or tacos, Food Truck Wednesday offers something for everyone. In addition, coffee and frozen desserts will be available on select dates. If you are a food truck or vendor interested in participating, visit here to register.
