The Don Krekel Orchestra (DKO)

The DKO (Don Krekel Orchestra) is a 16-piece big band performing favorites from the American Songbook, jazz standards and arrangements by some of Louisville’s own talent. Featuring an impressive lineup of Louisville’s top musicians and the vocals of Barb Polk and Harvey Turner, the DKO is under the direction of Dr. Ansyn Banks, Professor of Jazz Trumpet at the UofL School of Music.
