LJS Co-Sponsors Free Improv Jam Night hosted by Sun Variations

The Louisville Jazz Society is proud to co-sponsor a free improvisation jam session hosted by the experimental quartet Sun Variations at Planet of the Tapes this coming Wednesday, March 13th.

This is the third jam session hosted by the group and they have attracted musicians from all corners of the Louisville music scene, from classical to jazz to everything in between. The success of these sessions is a true testament to the vibrancy of musical improvisation in all forms and highlights the power of spontaneous creative musical collaboration across styles and boundaries.

If you are interested in listening to or performing with unexpected combinations of instruments and musical styles, then you don’t want to miss this truly unique event.
