The Youth Performing Arts School Jazz Ensembles, directed by Dr. Kevin Callihan and Conner Kinmon, partcipate in conferences, competitions and festivals throughout the state, region and nation. The Jazz Ensembles are known for performances of new arrangements, progressive repertoire, virtuosic solos and challenging ensemble material. The program invigorates interest in jazz and enables performance opportunites and collaborations for young jazz musicians and enthusiasts in the Louisville metro area.
This concert will be performed at Christ Church United Methodist, 4614 Brownsboro Rd. A freewill offering will benefit the West End School.
