Samara Joy, the three-time Grammy award winning jazz singer, is coming to Louisville! Inspired by the likes of Sarah Vaughn, Ella Fitzgerald, and Billie Holiday, and her family’s gospel music roots, Samara won the 2019 Sarah Vaughn International Jazz Vocal competition, and records for the Verve Records label. At her Louisville show, she will perform a variety of jazzy Christmas classics, American songbook standards, and original music with members of her family, the McClendons.
