The Don Krekel Orchestra (DKO)

Since 1956, the Don Krekel Orchestra has been delivering BIG BAND MUSIC at its BEST for over 65 years! The DKO is comprised of the region’s top musicians and vocalists, and performs big band, swing, jazz and pop favorites. It’s under the direction of Dr. Ansyn Banks, Professor of Jazz Studies at the University of Louisville.
