The swinging, grooving organ quartet We-B3-B4 is the brain child of Louisville guitarist Clay Moore, who first launched the organ trio We-B3, reconnecting with musical compatriots from his years in Austin, Texas. He then augmented the group with phenomenal Louisville trumpetist Marlin McKay. The group’s repertoire includes selections from recordings of artists Herbie Hancock, Blue Mitchell, Stanley Turrentine, and Clay’s originals. Don’t miss this fantastic combination of players!

Steve Snyder, organ: Professor of Jazz Studies at DePauw University in Indiana, whose resume includes performances/recordings with Randy Brecker, Jerry Bergonzi, Dave Stryker, Robben Ford, and Jonathan Kriesberg.

Marlin McKay, trumpet: Professor of Jazz Studies the University of Louisville, is equally at home with fiery bebop, down home funk, smooth bossa novas, and soulful ballads.

Clay Moore, guitar: Has taught at multiple colleges in three states and has performed/recorded with artists such as Joey DeFrancesco, Randy Brecker, Dave Liebman, Lenny White, Eric Alexander, Doc Severinsen, Peter Erskine, Tony Monaco, and Anthony Cox.

Wayne Salzmann II, drums: Is also a bandleader, composer, and educator who has performed/recorded with Steve Miller, Kenny Rogers, Kris Kristofferson, Christopher Cross, Bob Schneider, Joe Satriani, G3, Mike Stern, Joe Bonamassa, Robben Ford, Oz Noy, Chris Potter, Dick Oatts, Bill Watrous, Diane Schuur, and Bobby Shew.
