Join us as we celebrate international jazz icon Jamey Aebersold’s birthday! This year we’ll feature a performance of Jamey’s quartet with special guest Hunt Butler. Hunt’s mastery of the saxophone traces directly back to his early years of study and mentorship with Jamey. Joining Jamey and Hunt will be Wade Honey on piano, Tyrone Wheeler on bass, and Jonathan Higgins on drums.
A highlight of the festivities will be the second annual presentation of the Louisville Jazz Society Jamey Aebersold Scholarship! And YES, there will be cake!!
All proceeds for the event will go towards the Louisville Jazz Society Jamey Aebersold Scholarship Fund.
