The Louisville Jazz Society is excited to present Craig Tweddell and his sextet Now. Here. This. The ensemble will be performing Craig’s transcriptions from the classic Blue Note recordings of Herbie Hancock, Freddie Hubbard, Benny Golson, and the Jazz Messengers. They’ll also feature some more contemporary repertoire (Ralph Bowen, George Coleman, Jaco Pastorious), as well as some original material. Don’t miss this stellar lineup of musicians performing the great 3-horn 3-rhythm hardbop music that we all fell in love with from the Blue Note era – and more! The musicians are:
