The Greg Walker Memorial Concert

Guitarist Greg Walker was a pillar of the Louisville jazz community for decades before his passing in August of 2021. Although he played many different jazz styles, his main focus was his vocal jazz group Walker and Kays (with vocalist Jeanette Kays). The Louisville Jazz Society will present a memorial concert in his honor, featuring some of his favorite tunes, musicians (bassist Doug Elmore, guitarist Craig Wagner, and drummer Terry O’Mahoney) and several vocalists (Carly Johnson and Sarah Stivers) who worked with Greg over the years.
